Next weekend! Scott Rao’ Montreal Seminars on Brewing espresso, filter coffee and roasting

Rejoice coffee lovers! Scott Rao is coming to Montreal to do two coffee seminars at Le Couteau, on July 4th and 5th. Most of coffee amateurs and professionals know him from the books he have written about coffee making ( ), but also as a barista, coffee roaster, consultant and because he cofounded Café Myriade, several years ago.

This will be a good opportunity for you to meet him and improve your brewing of espresso and filter coffee, upgrade your knowledge and techniques,
or your roasting methodology. Plus all the insights you will gain from his experience!

This, I am sure, will have an impact on your understanding of coffee making. The seminars are a lot of fun and are good for the bonding of the coffee community here in Montreal! Hope you can join! #mtlcafelove

“When I began in the coffee business in 1992, I read every book I could find about coffee. However, after reading all of those books I felt as if I hadn’t learned much about how to make great coffee. My coffee library was chock-full of colorful descriptions of brewing styles, growing regions, and recipes, with a few almost-unreadable scientific books mixed in. I would have traded in all of those books for one serious, practical book with relevant information about making great coffee in a cafe. Fourteen years later, I still hadn’t found that book, so I decided to write it myself. These books are my attempt to give baristas what I had been missing all of those years.” – Scott Rao
